National Youth Training Programme (NYTP) Players are out!
Hello All Ultimate Players,
Do you all remember that previously I have written about the revival of the National Youth Training Programme? If you have forgotten about it, here is the post! After the the inital cut of youth players during the trials held during January, the NYTP team went through trainings and scrimmages, cuts and changes, and finally at long last, the names of the NYTP players are out! Here are the new NYTP team representing Singapore for eventual national ultimate tournaments!
Here are some details of some of the NYTP players!

Why is there such a special mention for these players? These players were from the teams that I have interviewed for the past year - GEN2X and Rascals! I am glad that what was set out by the teams (to develop young ultimate players) is slowly coming to fruition! Congratulations GEN2X and Rascals!
For more details check out the NYTP Facebook page over here!
For these young players who are raring to go, their very first test will be the Malaysia Ultimate Open 2014 which is around the corner! (in a week or so!)
However, before that, they would be playing scrimmages, and one of them would be against Cockeye Bullets! Cockeye Bullets consist of players from previous batches of NTYP, so you can say that this is the game of the past vs the present!
Would the vigour and athleticism of the new NYTP players prevail? Or would it be the old vanguard, with experiences from numerous tournaments and learnings from the previous NTYP? Find out who would prevail this coming Monday, 20th July at Turf City, at the fields in front of the Grand Stand from 730pm to 930pm!
Stay tuned for more posts about the NYTP coming your way soon!
