2014 Review + New Year Wishes!

Hello Ultimate Frisbee Players!

Happy 2015! Apologies for the late post as I was busy partyying the last few days:) Anyway, here is a review of Ultimate Frisbee in Singapore for 2014!

Increased coverage of Ultimate Frisbee in Singapore !

The Ultimate Frisbee scene in Singapore has been covered many times during the year of 2014. Ultimate Frisbee was featured in various television programmes (The Red Dot, Channel Newsasia), Newspapers (Strait Times, My Paper) and even in the launching ceremonies of ActiveSG and SEA Games 2015! This goes to show that Singapore is getting more interested in this sport and hopefully the momentum would continue in the years to come!

Singapore Goes to the Worlds!

This year was the one of the few times that Singapore managed to send Ultimate Frisbee teams in all categories of the Worlds Ultimate Club Championships held in Leico, Italy. They performed well above expectations and we hope for a better result when Singapore in the upcoming World Championships of Beach Ultimate 2015 and the World Ultimate Championships 2016!

What a wonderful 2014 it was for Singapore's Ultimate Frisbee! Here are some New Year Wishes for the year of 2015!!

- Reinstating of Youth Development Program

There are recent news surfacing about the Youth Development Program For Ultimate being reinstated! Hopefully it would be up and running in no time to allow the young talents to excel and master the craft of Ultimate Frisbee to face against global competitors!

- More Recognition of Ultimate Frisbee

Although there was increased coverage of Ultimate Frisbee in Singapore, it still needs more recognition from the Singapore! Hopefully there would be more news and television featuring Ultimate Frisbee in Singapore!

- More exciting plays in Tournaments and Competitions!

We saw many awesome plays in the various tournaments and competition in 2014, would the 2015 season be more exhilarating? Stay tuned to find out!

- Even More Competitons and Sponsors!

We many inaugural tournaments and competitions held over the past year, such as the Ultimate Corportate Challenge etc. We also saw Shiok being sponsored by Under Armour as well! Let's hope that 2015 would bring even more new and unique competitions and sponsors on board the Ultimate scene!
