Ultimate Frisbee is a sport that is gaining popularity around the world at an EXHILARATING rate, and I have been playing this sport for more than two years. However, while pursuing the sport I enjoy, there were a few issues in Singapore for the Ultimate Frisbee scene. The main one was that people who do not know the sport often relate it as a very simple game, a game between canines, which might sometime sound very unpleasant to the Ultimate players in Singapore.

 

The other was that there hasn't been a website to tell people inside and outside of Singapore about the happenings in the Ultimate scene of Singapore! Truth be tolOne was that who can people in Singapore look for to  find out more about the ultimate Frisbee scene in Singapore?

 

So why not start a blog to inform people about the Ultimate Frisbee scene in Singapore and the countries around it? and so comes the birth of this blog :) The blog also serve to let people know about the existance of this wonderful sport and allow people to learn about the game of Ultimate Frisbee should they be interested :) 

 

As the idea started to gain momentum, one last issue remained – what should be the name of this blog? I was running out of ideas when my friend suggested, “Why not Ultimate leh?” To the non-Singaporean friends, leh is a slang in Singapore, used differently depending on its phrasing:

 

Ultimate leh? : where is the next game of Ultimate Frisbee ?

Ultimate leh.  : Let’s go for some Ultimate Frisbee.
