Singapore Ultimate in the News!
Just as I was typing the previous post on the Worlds Ultimate Club Championships 2014, this pleasant surprise came about.. :)
Channel NewsAsia covered the tournament and featured some of the teams that were practising at one of the usual haunts of Ultimate Frisbee!

More exciting news came as it turns out that Singapore would be playing the showcase game with Shiok! Singapore against Crocali to kickstart the entire tournament!
This really showed a drive and start in the public being more interested in Ultimate scene in Singapore in recent years, with the coverage of the 2013 Singapore Ultimate Opens, frisbee workshops and showcase games featuring local Ultimate Frisbee clubes in sporting events such as the 2015 SEA games launch party and the recent opening of the Singapore Sports Hub!

however, the recent coverage did mention something that is true - it is still not as widely followed compared to the more mainstream sports such as soccer and basketball. However, what's positive is that is a start essentially, and as they say, with humble beginnings come great things :)
